\qj \b0 \i0 King Josaphat is depicted as the old man having caricature features on the left. He has very strong Jewish features; he is either very taken up by writing or is perhaps doing accounts, since in the \b \cf4 \ATXht70203 Bible\b0 \cf0 \ATXht0 he is shown as being very able in accumulating money (2 Cr. 17:11-12). On the right there is a group amongst the most intense dedicated by \b \cf4 \ATXht5 Michelangelo\b0 \cf0 \ATXht0 to the theme of maternity. There is a mother who is no longer y
oung and is approached by her three children of whom the most lively holds her tightly, embracing and kissing her. \par
This is Joram, who in accordance with his character when he grew up and became a king, got his brothers killed (2 Cr. 21:4...).

This maternal group is perhaps to be put in relation with the scene of the creation of Adam placed above in the vault - in fact hinting at the incarnation. The color tones used for the two groups of the lunette are the same: orange and light green.
